Prayer for Life- Pope St. John Paul II
O Mary, Bright Dawn of the new world, Mother of the Living, to you do we entrust the cause of life: Look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers of babies not allowed to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult, of men and women who are victims of brutal violence, of the elderly and sick killed in indifference or out of misguided mercy. Grant that all who believe in your Son may proclaim the Gospel of Life with honesty and love to people of our time. Obtain for them the grace to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new, the joy of celebrating it with gratitude throughout their lives and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely, in order to build together with all people of God will, the civilization of truth and love to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life. Prayer for Respect for Nascent Life

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit-

Dear God, Our Heavenly Creator, You are the Author of Life and of Truth. The reality that You Will each and every human person into being, created from the moment of conception bearing the dignity and imprint of Your Own Image and Likeness within the very essence of our being, is a mystery beyond human understanding. Please help us to have a greater appreciation of the gift of being created in Your Image and Likeness, help us to reverence that reality in our brothers and sisters, especially the tiniest and most vulnerable among them, and help us to defend the sanctity of every human life from the very first instant of conception to natural death. We ask this through the intercession of Our Lady, the Ever-Pure and All Immaculate Blessed Virgin Mary. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
